May 20, 2009

Dear Government Officials,

You are cordially invited to the Pennsylvania Association of Code Officials (P.A.C.O.) quarterly meeting to be held at the Montgomery County Fire Academy on June 18, 2009 at 9:00 am.

The purpose of this meeting is the new state regulated contractor registration. (Home Improvement Consumer Protection Act) and how it may effect your community. Bob Buddenbohn, the Executive Officer of the Pennsylvania Association of Building Code Officials (P.A.B.C.O.) will present a brief summary of the new act followed by a question and answer period. This should take about one and a half to two hours. Bob has spoken on this subject many times so hopefully he will be able to answer your questions.

Our regular meeting will be held afterwards and you are more than welcome to stay and attend.

P.A.C.O is a local chapter of the International Code Council (I.C.C.) with about 220 members. Our organization includes code officials and third party inspectors with members in Delaware, Bucks, Chester, Montgomery and Lancaster Counties.

If you are able to attend, please e-mail me at gholt@paco-71.org or bethelcode@comcast.net so we may have a head count. We will have coffee and donuts in the morning.

Thank you;
Glenn Holt, President
P.A.C.O.
