Bob Buddenbohn gave a presentation regarding the newly enacted State-Wide Home Renovators Contractor Registration

The business portion of the meeting started at 11:03 AM

Treasurers Report - Joe Januzelli

• • A motion was made to accept the Treasurers Report
• • Lee Milligan 1st Bob Ellis, 2nd

President's Report - Glenn Holt

• • Former Treasurer, Bob Neely, had Triple Bypass Surgery and is doing well
• PACO has sent Bob a fruit basket
• • Glenn would like to apply for the ICC Chapter of the Year Award for Next Year
• • PACO needs to be known as more than just a Code Official Organization
• • PACO needs to be more involved
• • In order to qualify for Chapter of the Year, more charity work will need to be done
• Habitat for Humanity
• Beef and Beer fundraiser for a Charity
• Raise money for the Fallen Officer/Firefighter fund
• Bowling & Beer
• • See if we can advertise any fundraising events on PABCO web-site to reach out to more people
• • PACO will be supporting New Jersey for the 2013 ICC Conference
• Cindy Davis had already committed to New Jersey before Philadelphia applied
• New Jersey will support Philadelphia in 2016
• The ultimate decision for the location will be the ICC
• • Future Training
• A Questionnaire will be sent out regarding training
• • Website
• PACO is looking into putting a forum/discussion room onto our web-site
• Make sure all training is posted on our web-site Look into changing our web-site address as PACO-71 is hard for people to find if they are searching for us.
• Consider adding a suggestion box section to our website
• • Committees
• • Glenn is in the process of forming committees for different aspects of our organization and to get more members involved in the organization

ICC Report - Glenn Holt & Brian Gallagher

• • ICC Conference will be held in November at Baltimore, MD
• • Live stream of the Code Change Hearings will be on the ICC Web-site
• • PACO will look into a bus trip for the Code Change Hearings and or Voting Meetings
• • Watch the PACO Website for further details
• • PACO was solicited by two candidates for our support for their candidiacy

• • Lee Milligan has been named to the IRC Plumbing and Mechanical Code Change Committee

ICC Region IV - John Beswick

• • No Report

PHRC - Terri Bennett

• • Next meeting will be held in October in Penn State
• • BOD will discuss whether PACO will give CEU Credits for attending a Webinar

Education

• • Rest of the year PACO training is posted on the website
• • all Forum will be held on November 18th, 19th and 20th, 2009 at the Montgomery County Fire Academy.
• Courses being held are review of the 2009 Building, Fire, Residential and Mechanical Codes
