President Gallagher requested input from members regarding moving excess funds from checking into either money market or a CD.

Motion made to move approximately $26K into money market or CD based on findings of the Finance Committee

Education Committee: Update for November Training given by Kevin Pezzano Requested topics for the December Meeting round table discussion

Region VII - R Loeper gave Region VII report. Pennsylvania will be the Host state for Region VII Meetings in 2008. Donation requests will be sent to all PA chapters for funding for meeting costs.

Roland Hall was present and updated the group on the latest status of the ICC. Discussion was held regarding the sprinkler Amendments presented by the International Association of Fire Chiefs in Rochester and that discussion will not come back to the table for 18 months.

PHRC - Jon Beswick gave the PHRC report. Next industrial advisory meeting is October 11th. Conference is in January 2008. PHRC is working on a voluntary foundation standard for relocated manufactured housing.

Todd Meltsch brought up issues with spam messages coming through PACO Website. Brian Gallagher stated that this was being looked into by our website people.

PA Builders Assoc stated not much happening but they were keeping their eye on HB 982. HB refers to establishment of a grant program and concern is where funding will come from.

Question was asked regarding dues renewal. Treasurer must send bills out by October 1 per bylaws.

Discussion on floor regarding possible increase in membership dues and what they money goes towards. Dues money supplements training, PABCO dues, website, and admin assistant and insurance costs.

Membership certificates will be issued with renewals this year

Last sentence changed to "The goal of the education committee is to provide accredited training for continuing education"
