2010 SPRING TRAINING SESSION

"How to Survive Your Accessibility Audit"

PACO will be offering a 1-day course on "How to Survive Your Accessibility Audit" presented by Ryan McCann at the Towamencin Volunteer Fire Company, 1590 Bustard Road Kulpsville PA 19443.

The seminar is one day course and will cover the following UCC issues:
- Administrative procedures to increase inspection accuracy
- Proper record keeping and documentation of pre-existing conditions
- Commonly cited violations and possible solutions.
- "Foreign Relations" or how to properly deal with your State inspector
- Dealing with accessibility in existing buildings
- Tricks of the trade for easier accessibility inspections
- Clearing up the intent of some requirements

Who should attend: Any Code Officials involved in the inspection and acceptance of Accessible Features under the UCC.

Instructor Biography: Ryan McCann is a graduate of Penn State University, formerly taught accessibility courses for Delaware County Community College, and is currently the Assistant Director of Upper Darby Township L&I.

Cost: $60.00 includes lunch. Students must provide their own code books.
